Anne Saunders
Anne was born in Edinburgh, Scotland. She studied at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art, Dundee, specializing in Illustration and Printmaking, completing her degree in 1977. In 1995 Anne graduated with a Master of Arts (Fine Arts Painting) by Research La Trobe University Bendigo.
Anne has had over 20 solo exhibitions and contributed to over 50 group exhibitions. She has been a finalist in juried exhibitions. These exhibitions have taken place in Australia, Singapore, New Zealand and the U.K. Her work is in private and public collections.
Anne’s painting positions itself within the dichotomy of Scotland and Australia, embracing colour, pattern, repetitive mark making and varying surface interactions with a firm commitment to abstraction.
