Donald Ramsay

Donald Ramsay is an Australian career artist who has held regular exhibitions of his paintings in Melbourne and Sydney. His studio is located at Fairhaven on the west coast of Victoria. After completing an Honours Degree at Melbourne University, he initially worked as a secondary teacher. Interpretation of the Australian natural wilderness landscape is the predominant theme in his art. Where possible, he paints on location. Larger paintings are created on return to the studio. Donald Ramsay’s work is represented in public and private collections, including Victoria University and Geelong and Castlemaine Regional Galleries.
