John Ryrie

Born in Melbourne in 1961, John grew up in the rural Victorian town of Maffra, going on to the Gippsland campus of Monash University B.A. course in 1982 and the V.C.A 1983-1986. He studied under Euan Heng, Geoff Dupree, Peter Booth, Ian Parry, Alan Mitelman and John Walker.
John’s works include drypoints, etchings, lithographs, monoprints, screenprints, wood engravings, linocuts, paintings, drawings, sculptures, and artist’s books, including poetry.
