Sarah Tomasetti

Sarah Tomasetti is highly regarded for her luminous fresco paintings and installations, bringing ephemeral landscapes into the built environment. Gaining a qualification in premodern fresco techniques from the Laboratorio Vainella in Italy in 1995, Sarah’s work is designed to open and enlarge space in the manner of historic frescoes, but with contemporary themes and portability. Sarah’s work is held in a number of private and public collections including Artbank, Macquarie Bank, BHP Billiton, National Australia Bank and Grafton, Tamworth and Muswellbrook Regional Galleries and she won the prestigious John Leslie Prize for Landscape in 2020.
